The article presents a study which evaluates the capability of patients with quaternium-15 patch test reactions to represent possible warning signs for presence of specific anti-neuromuscular blocking agents (anti-NMBA) Immunoglobulin E (IgE). The study employed various tests in each patient with patch test reactions which include blood test for anti-quaternary ammonium and radioallergosorbent test. Results show that 2% inhibition of allergen is significant for anti-quaternary ammonium IgE. |
