مستخلص: The article reports on the occurrence of Echinorhynchus salmonis, Acanthocephalus dirus and Neoechinorhynchus pungitius at several ports in Lake Michigan. The study looked at the prevalence, incidence and abundance of acanthocephalan species in each fish species among the ports, and its dietary link to Cottus cognatus and Pungitius pungitius. The study involved 288 slimy sculpins or C. cognatus collected from six ports and 220 ninespine sticklebacks or P. pungitius collected from three ports.
