مستخلص: The article focuses on retrospective study from Wang and colleagues in this issue of Clinical Infectious Diseases of transplanting kidneys from hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) positive donors in HBsAg-negative recipients, and high prevalence of HBsAg positivity among potential donors. Topics include the transplantation of kidneys from HBsAg-positive donors into HBsAg-negative recipients has yielded results, and the more commonly used HBsAg-negative/hepatitis B core antibody positive donor.
