The article discusses the role of apoptosis programmed cell death in exercise. The author inferred that apoptotis cell death dissents morphologically and biochemically from necrotic cell death although both appear to occur after exercise. It is averred that exercise-induced apoptosis is a normal regulatory process that serves to remove certain damaged cell without a pronounced inflammatory response, hence assuring optimal organism function. |
