The effect of antibiotics on two liver enzymes – serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) also known as glutamic-pyruvic transaminase (SGPT) and serum alkaline phosphatase (ALP) – was studied in a population of adults in Nsukka, Enugu state Nigeria.
