مستخلص: A health data repository needs adequate data governance, data security and acceptable data quality. The lack of electronically captured "administrative data" in low-resource settings forces clinicians to be primarily responsible for the capture of data related to patient care. In settings where digital health information is abundant, digital health systems are sophisticated, and government-led initiatives are the order of the day, clinicians play a crucial role in defining standards for measures (or metrics).
