مستخلص: Highlights from the article: The kidney is involved in more than two-thirds of patients with systemic Amyloidosis at diagnosis and is responsible for severe morbidity, reduction of quality of life, and even treatment limitations. Sclerotic changes that occur in renal tissue after established renal amyloidosis can also cause persistent proteinuria unconnected to amyloidosis activity, as demonstrated by the absence of renal organic remission in AL patients with hematologic very good partial or complete remission. In this cohort, Six-2 glomerular deposit at renal biopsy predicted progression to dialysis better than baseline proteinuria and eGFR in renal amyloidosis.
