The article presents a case study of a 14-year-old male with self-inflicted gun shot wound to the head. Topics include herniated in the trauma bay failing the standards of medical care used for preventing herniation; and neurologic outcome and degree of functioning resulted from a subarachnoid hemorrhage,edema, and herniation through the foramen magnum. |
