الوصف: The adenovirus E1A gene products can transactivate viral and many cellular promoters while repressing others, drive quiescent cells to enter the cell cycle and synthesize DNA, and contribute to the oncogenic transformation of cells. These diverse effects of the ElA proteins appear to result from their ability to bind to a variety of cellular proteins, altering the activity of several different transcription factors.
