| الوصف: | 91 International intervention comes with international relationship. As long as international relationship exists, there are a variety forms of International intervention. Take the war as a case, it is a particular or extreme form of International intervention. In the globalization era, the independent reactions among nations have become very intensive in international society. There are frequent interactions among nations in politics, economy, society, culture, and even national security in the globalization era. Domestic conflicts could affect the regional or global security and stability. While a domestic or regional crisis affects the international security, but the nation is not willing to or doesn’t have the ability to handle the crisis, there comes International intervention. Sovereign independence and nonintervention have become the focus of PRC’s national security. From China’s viewpoint, International intervention challenges the sovereignty and the principle of nonintervention. Meanwhile, mainland China regards International intervention as hegemony. And PRC thinks International intervention could undermine the relations among major powers. Even worse, China believes that International intervention could promote the nationality independence movement and jeopardize it’s national security. This study elaborated the meanings and the development of International intervention. Also, this study analyzed mainland China reactions towards International intervention with the following cases: the Gulf War in 1991, the crisis of Taiwan Strait in 1996, and the Kosovo War in 1999. |
