This document is a correction to a previous article titled "Recovering the wedge modes lost to 21-cm foregrounds" published in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society. The correction addresses an issue with the training and validation sets used to train a neural network in the original article. The overlap of random seeds between the sets resulted in overfitting and affected the conclusions of the original study. The correction proposes adjustments to the neural network and presents new performance statistics and sample predictions. Despite the flaw in the original treatment of the data, the correction confirms the validity of the approach and the main message of the original article.
