مستخلص: |
A 46-year-old Chinese male nonsmoker with CML underwent allogeneic bone marrow transplantation (BMT) from an HLA-matched sibling in 1995 after busulfancyclophosphamide conditioning. He developed moderate chronic GVHD of the mouth and skin and cyclosporin was tapered off after 2 years. He was maintained on oral cotrimoxazole, steroid inhalations and eye lubricants for conjunctivitis sicca, bronchiolitis obliterans, frequent episodes of pneumonia and three episodes of herpes zoster reactivation. Three years after BMT he developed a rapidly growing left superior conjunctival lesion, which showed squamous cell carcinoma with underlying dysplasia. |
