The article presents a case study of a 34-year-old woman with retroperitoneal ganglioneuroblastoma. The use of computed tomography shows a 4-cm homogenous retroperitoneal tumour while the conduct of pathological examination reveals a potential solitary fibrous tumour as well as lobulated circumscribed solid mass. It reveals the failure of negative fine-needle biopsy to diagnose nodular ganglioneuroblastoma and proposes the use of adjuvant radiotherapy for follow-up and re-evaluation. |
