The article focuses on the research which investigates the role of ants and termites in dryland cropping environment. The three-year study examines the impact of ants and termites on wheat yields of a dryland farm in Western Australia. It revealed that the presence of ants and termites on farmland under low tillage was related to the 36% higher wheat crop yield. |
