The article discusses the findings of a study which investigated the knowledge, attitudes, practices and needs of pregnant women regarding food safety. It has found that pregnant women have limited knowledge with regards to food safety and their practices are somewhat unsafe. The study has revealed that pregnant women use various sources such as books, the Internet, friends and social media to do their own research on food safety and listeriosis. |
