مستخلص: The article discusses on the trial of dabitgatran for dialysis anticoagulation in a haemodialysis patient with heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT). It states that the use of dabigatran, the new oral thrombin inhibitors for haemodialysis patients in the medical literature was ineffective, despite the anticipated rapid achievement of Cmax and what seemed to be an adequate dose.. It notes that the patient has developed thrombosis of her arteriovenous fistula requiring surgical revision.
