The article discusses peptide hormones type 2 diabetes management. It discusses an experiment to replicate the impact of bariatric surgery in management of type 2 diabetes and involving trial of synthetic peptide agonist of Glucagon and Glucagon-like peptide (GLP)-1 receptors in the gut-pancreas hormone axis.
