| الوصف: | Within the framework of Task 5.2 of HBM4EU, HBM guidance values (HBM-GVs) are derived for HBM4EU priority substances. The methodology applied to derive these values is based on the procedure described in the German Human Biomonitoring Commission’s position paper (Kommission Human-Biomonitoring, 2014, Apel et al., 2017) and in the guidance document elaborated by the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety (ANSES) for the derivation of biological limit values (BLVs) for chemicals used in the workplace (ANSES, 2014). These methodological approaches have been summarised and combined in a concept document previously released in the HBM4EU Task 5.2 workframe (HBM4EU concept paper). In the current report, HBM-GVs for the general population (HBM-GVGenPop) and HBM-GVs for occupationally exposed adults (HBM-GVWorker) are derived and discussed for Cadmium (Cd). The values established are based on the nephrotoxic effects of Cd. |
