الوصف: Parent and self-report ratings were obtained for 57 adolescents using the Comprehensive Executive Function Inventory and the Behavior Assessment System for Children-Second Edition. Results indicate there were no differences among raters with regards to race/ethnicity and gender. Adolescents rated themselves as having significantly more problems, compared to parent ratings, on all subscales and composites comprising the CEFI and on the BASC-2 clinical and adaptive composites. These findings suggest that parent and self-ratings of executive function together, when evaluated using the CEFI, may offer useful information for treatment planning and intervention that may be missed if only one rater is used. Future attempts to validate the CEFI should focus on including clinical groups as previous studies have shown that they lag behind peers in the development of executive functioning skills.
