The goal of this study is to provide the municipality with factual and theoretical information necessary to better protect the surface waters of the Township. The report findings suggest that streams are an important resource for the Township, yet are being threatened by development. Two major recommendations regarding the protection of surface water resources are made in the report. The first is that the municipality should more effectively monitor and control impervious cover in all sub-watersheds.
