الوصف: | Information and Communication Technologies make up a key element in today´s society, a fact that means that in the educational sector it is essential to meet and respond to the digital demands of students. The continuous social transformations must be appreciated and worked from the schools, being the teachers the one that has the responsibility of presenting updates in the thoughts and knowledge, offering methodologies, strategies, and resources in the new digital age. Given this approach, the main objective of the research’s is to know and understand what is the technological preparation that Primary Education teachers receive to develop digital teaching competence, pretending to know what reasons are those that incite technological work in the classroom. For this, a qualitative study is carried out that is developed from the narrative methodology, that is, from the voice and experience of an active teacher to make an approach to the reality that encompasses the digital phenomenon in teacher training. The results are offered through content nuclei that structure, in seven epigraphs, the most outstanding points by a teacher who appreciates educational technological preparation as a basis for professional development. ; Las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación conforman un elemento clave en la sociedad actual, hecho que conlleva que en el sector educativo resulte esencial atender y responder a las demandas digitales del alumnado. Las continuas trasformaciones sociales deben ser apreciadas y trabajadas desde las escuelas, siendo el profesorado el que posee la responsabilidad de presentar actualizaciones en los pensamientos y conocimientos, ofreciendo metodologías, estrategias y recursos en la nueva era digital.
