الوصف: Opće je poznata činjenica da su mikroorganizmi sveprisutni u biosferi, a istraživanjima je potvrđena njihova prisutnost i u blizini radioaktivnog otpada. Uočena je važnost interakcija mikroorganizama s radioaktivnim otpadom i zaključeno je da su mikrobiološke transformacije radionuklida, teških metala i minerala vitalni dio prirodnih procesa biosfere te da mogu imati pozitivne posljedice za čovjeka i okoliš koji ga okružuje. ; It is widely known that microorganisms are ubiquitous in the biosphere and conducted investigations have confirmed their presence in the vicinity of radioactive waste. The importance of the interaction of microorganisms with radioactive waste was noted and it was concluded that the microbial transformations of radionuclides, heavy metals and minerals are a vital part of the natural process of the biosphere and that they can have positive consequences for human and its environment.
