Treball final de Màster Universitari en Intervenció i Mediació Familiar. Codi: SBD016. Curs acadèmic: 2017-2018 ; Substance consumption, especially cocaine, is currently one of the most important public health problems. The high dropout ra t e in treatment programs has led to the study of those most effective to get the drug - dependent patients commitment . In this case study we want to analyze the proposal treatment effects’ for cocaine addicted person. We hope to achieve abstinence from cocaine in the patient, an improvement in her self - esteem and restart the relationship with some of her closet relatives. Thus, the treatment program is made up of two components parallel carried out: 1) a Contingency Management Program (by which the patient can acquire vouchers exchangeable for goods aimed to improve her lifestyle) and 2) a Cognitive - Behavioral Treatment Program divided into different sessions aimed to train the patient in certain skills to achieve the proposed objectives. Analyzing t he results, a total adherence to the treatment and the achievement of most objectives proposed are observed. Therefore, the results suggest the efficacy of a type of treatment for addicted cocaine people: the combination of a Cognitive - Behavioral Treatment Program plus an incentive therapy (CBT + Vouchers), becoming necessary to increase the number of sessions to cover other interesting topics for the person in a detoxification process ; El consumo de sustancias , en especial de la cocaína, supone en la actualidad uno de los problemas de salud pública más importantes. La alta tasa de abandonos en los programas de tratamiento ha llevado al estudio de aquellos más eficaces para facilitar el compromiso de los pacientes d rogodependientes. En este estudio de caso se desea analizar los efectos de una propuesta de tratamiento para una persona adicta a la cocaína.
