| الوصف: | Introduction: Micronutrient supplementation in children under 3 years of age favors the reduction in the prevalence of childhood anemia, so it is important that this group has an appropriate adherence to the treatment provided. Objective: To determine the factors associated with the adherence of micronutrient supplementation in children under 3 years of the SOS Villages, San Juan de Lurigancho. Material and methods: The research had a non-experimental design, correlation level and cross section. The sample consisted of 61 mothers of children under 3 years of age, in whom a 20-item questionnaire was applied. The data analysis was done using the SPSS version 24 program, and the statistical test was the Chi square with a significance level of 0.05. Results: The factors related to the user with significant value were: recognition of the importance of micronutrients (p: 0.002), type of preparations with which the sparks should be mixed (p: 0.004), number of tablespoons of food with the that the supplement should be mixed (p: 0.003), time availability (p: 0.012) and the recognition of benefits (p: 0.004); while in the factors related to micronutrients, were found: constipation (p: 0.00), bad taste in mouth (p: 0.00), and change in the flavor of food (p: 0.00). Conclusion: The factors related to the user and micronutrients have a significant association with adherence to treatment. ; Introducción: La suplementación con micronutrientes en niños menores de 3 años favorecen la reducción en la prevalencia de anemia infantil, por lo que es importante que este grupo tenga una adherencia apropiada al tratamiento brindado. Objetivo: Determinar cuáles son los factores asociados a la adherencia de la suplementación con micronutrientes en niños menores de 3 años de las Aldeas SOS, San Juan de Lurigancho. Material y métodos: La investigación tuvo un diseño no experimental, nivel correlacional y corte transversal.
