| الوصف: | Le genre comme concept d’entendement des problématiques sociales et comme catégorie d’action pour les politiques publiques a connu un développement remarquable dans les années 1990. Bénéficiant de militantes et d’expertes engagées dans la modification des politiques publiques, le contexte mexicain fut propice à la création d’institutions et de programmes sociaux adoptant une « perspective de genre ». Cependant, la violence armée et sa réponse étatique ont progressivement conquis les espaces politique et médiatique mexicains et relégué les politiques avec perspective de genre loin dans l’ordre des priorités de l’action publique. Cet article analyse les éléments de la problématique en faisant porter la focale sur le peu d’attention politique portée au(x) féminicide(s), sur les restrictions budgétaires touchant les politiques publiques du genre et sur les difficultés militantes à influer sur les politiques actuelles depuis l’arrivée au pouvoir du Partido Acción Nacional (pan) en 2000 puis avec le retour du Parti de la Révolution Institutionnelle (pri) à la tête de l’État en 2012. ; Gender as a concept of understanding of social issues and as a category of action for public policy has undergone a remarkable development in the 1990s in Mexico. Relying on activists and experts involved in changing public policies, the Mexican context was conducive to the creation of institutions and social programs adopting a « gender perspective ». However, armed violence and state response gradually conquered the Mexican political and media spaces. This contributed to the relegation of policies with a gender perspective far away in the order of priorities of public action. This article analyzes the elements of the problem by shifting the focus on the little political attention devoted to femicides.
