الوصف: 本研究採準實驗研究設計的要旨,探討以模式為基礎的教學(MBI),對國二學生學習酸鹼單元上概念學習的影響,並分析在使用不同教學模式下,實驗組與對照組在學習成效上的差異,及學生對MBI教學的學習感受。 研究中根據主題收集MBI教學及酸鹼相關文獻後,依據Buckley (2004) 所發展的以模式為基礎的教學(MBI)理論及教學流程,發展出MBI之酸鹼單元教案及酸鹼成就測驗前後測試題作為研究工具。研究對象為高雄市市區一所中型學校的一班國二學生為實驗組,人數共33人採MBI教學;另外選取一班為對照組,人數共34人採講述式教學。探討的教學單元為「酸鹼單元」,兩組教學時間均為三節課。以酸鹼成就測驗前後測試題分別實施前後測,再以SPSS10.0統計軟體來分析量化資料。並收集課室錄音,學習單、晤談等資料,來說明量化呈現的結果,進一步歸納研究結果及主張。經由資料分析,研究結果與發現如下: (一)經實驗處理後,在學習成就上實驗組優於對照組且達顯著差異。 (二)在酸鹼單元中主要概念得分中MBI教學均優於講述式教學,且其中含離子抽象概念的「酸鹼性與濃度」概念達顯著差異。 (三)MBI教學歷程中各步驟對學生的學習成效影響均達顯著水準,且由進步平均分數的效果量來看分別是「推論的模式」>「具體的協助」>「列舉類似的現象」>「提出難題」。 (四)根據晤談結果得知MBI教學策略有助於提高學生的學習動機。 (五)由學習單答題得知學生能在MBI教學過程中思考並發生正向遷移。 (六)根據晤談得知學生習慣講述式教學而對MBI教學自行推理缺乏自信 ; Based on quasi-experiment method, this research aims to explore the influence of Model-Based Instruction (MBI) on learning concept of Acid-Base (I) for the second-grade students from the junior high school. Furthermore, the difference of learning efficiency between the experimental and control group on the different teaching models as well as the students’ learning feelings were also analyzed. During the research, based on the theory of MBI and the teaching procedure proposed by Buckley (2004), the researcher collects the relevant literature review of MBI and “Acid and Base” according to the topics to develop the teaching plan of “Acid and Base” and the Pretest & Posttest Questions for Acid and Base Achievement Test as a research tool. The subjects for the present study were the second grade students of a medium-sized Kaohsiung municipal junior high school. One class with 33 students was experimental group receiving MBI; the other with 34 students was control group receiving lecture instruction. Both groups received one teaching unit for the content of “Acid and Base” for three instructional sessions. Pre- and past- tests were used in the Pretest & Posttest Questions for Acid and Base Achievement Test and then the data was analyzed by using SPSS 10.0 statistic software.
