Cholesteatoma of external auditory canal a rare pathology. Clinically, it is a mass of keratin that erodes the ear canal, causing necrosis and bone lysis through several mechanisms. We present a case of this disease in a 40-year-old patient with symptoms of several years of evolution, treated by canal wall-down mastoidectomy with complete removal of cholesteatoma without recurrence at 2 years. |
