الوصف: | Reading and writing is crucially important to modern society, nowadays learning issues are being discussed in majority of worldwide documentations - education law, education strategies, education programs, reports and etcetera. Despite better results in education and training performance in European Union, having in mind the most important literacy aspect – results significantly decreased (General abilities in changing world, 2009). Although the educational changes are being implemented in Lithuania (for example approved new pre-school-age children achievement description (2014); pre-school education framework program (2016)), however the majority of pre-school teachers avoid innovations and still apply old methods, which have an impact on further learning at school. These theoretical insights suggest that educator is more orientated to direct reading and writing teaching (ability to decipher printed text). Nevertheless spontaneous and encouraged child’s multimodal learning in playful environment, which arise from child’s desire to learn, to discover, to experience, to find out should be considered more important. Research object – appearance of children multimodal learning reading and writing in education processes Research purpose – reveal multimodal learning reading and writing appearances in pre-school education context. Research propositions: 1. To define the concept and features of multimodal learning to read and write based on the scientific, educational, legal literature. 2. To discuss multimodal learning opportunities in children reading and writing context. 3. To rate children multimodal learning to read and write appearances in usual environment. 4. To reveal the experience of pre-school teachers’, interpreting multimodal learning to read and write appearances in educational process.
