| الوصف: | Accessibility Problems of Kaunas City Tertiary Health Care Services. Developing and improving access to health services is one of the priorities in international and national health strategies and programs. In 2018, the Supreme Audit Institution in Lithuania prepared a public audit report on the availability healthcare services and orientation to a patient, which identified the problem of access to healthcare services as long waiting time for services that not only affect organizational accessibility but also economic. When analysing the availability of healthcare services from the point of view of human resources, planning the number of doctors and other healthcare workers, in general and in terms of professional qualification, is important considering the needs of the society. Supreme Audit Institution 2018 has identified the need for medical specialists' planning in Lithuania as one of the complex problems of access to healthcare services and argued that the need is planned unreasonably. Over the last 2 decades, access to healthcare services has been analysed by foreign and Lithuanian scientists, but access to healthcare services is mostly analysed at primary or secondary levels, and access to tertiary healthcare services is analysed by certain components that do not represent a clear view of the availability of tertiary services. In foreign and Lithuanian scientific literature, access to healthcare services from the point of view of human resources is relevant but not very widely discussed. The aim of the project is to analyse the problems of accessibility of tertiary healthcare services in Kaunas city. The subject of the work is the availability of tertiary healthcare services. Aim of the work (for minor studies) - to analyse the accessibility of Lithuanian healthcare services in terms of human resources.
