| الوصف: | To determine the value of serial exercise treadmill testing for detecting restenosis after successful coronary angioplasty， 73 patients with single vessel coronary artery disease without history of myocardial infarction were studied. Exercise treadmill testing was performed before and several days after coronary angioplasty， and just before follow-up angiography 3 to 12 months later. Heart rate adjusted indexes of ST segment depression during exercise treadmill testing (ΔST/ΔHR index) were derived from evaluation in standardized exercise time. As a predictor，we used the increment between the ΔST/ΔHR index several days after angioplasty and at follow-up angiography. We compared this predictor to positive exercise treadmill testing， positive thallium scintigram，ΔST/ΔHR index≧3.5 at follow-up and the increment of the ΔST from the time several days after angioplasty to the time of follow-up angigraphy.
