Varón de 53 años con trasplante alogénico como tratamiento de un mieloma múltiple que presenta, en el día 54 postrasplante, fiebre, tos y afectación del estado general por lo que ingresa en el hospital. Presenta infiltrados pulmonares bilaterales y mala respuesta a tratamiento empírico, por lo que ingresa en UCI con distress respiratorio, falleciendo durante el ingreso por fallo multiorgánico. ; 53 years old male with a multiple myeloma treated with allogenic transplant comes to the emergency unit with fever, cought and bad condition. He is admitted to the hospital. A CT shows bilateral pulmonary infiltrates and, despite empirical broad sprectrum antibiotics, he is admitted to the ICU because of lack of response and acute respiratory distress syndrome. He suffers multiorganic shock, dying at the ICU. |
