| الوصف: | Introduction: Perianal fistulas are diseases that treateddifficulty. It is usually easy to diagnose; but it may needadditional tests. Age is an important factor in woundhealing. In this study, we examined whether the advancedage has a relevance with the recurrence of perianal fistula.Methods: There were 242 patients between January 2010and January 2016 with fistulotomy + curettage. Thesepatients had been operated at least twice because of therecurrences(13 patients two times and 5 patients threetimes). These patients' gender, age, type of fistula anddistance from external opening to the anal canal wasrecorded, retrospectively.Results: When comparing Group 1 and Group 2; was notstatistically significant in terms of the gender, distancefrom external opening of the fistula to the anal canal andfistula type. In additionally, there was no statisticallysignificant difference with advanced age.Discussion and Conclusion: In this study we found that;age, gender, distance from the opening of the fistula to theanal canal and fistula type do not seem influential in therecurrence of perianal fistulas. Age has emerged as animportant factor in wound healing but in this study, it wasnot statistically significant at fistula recurrence.Keywords: ; Giriş ve Amaç: Perianal fistüller zor tedavi edilenhastalıklardan birisidir. Genellikle tanısı kolaydır; ancakilave tetkikler gerekebilir. Yara iyileşmesinde yaş çokönemli bir faktör olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Buçalışmamızda, ileri yaşın perianal fistül nüksü ile bir ilgisiolup olmadığını inceledik.Yöntem ve Gereçler: Ocak-2010 ve Ocak-2016 tarihleriarasında fistülotomi+küretaj yapılan 242 hasta geriyedönük olarak incelendi. Bunlardan 18’i nüks nedeniyle enaz iki defa daha(13 hasta iki, 5 hasta üç kez) opereedilmişti.
