The narrator is Palestinian Lebanese and grew up in Libya, Lebanon, and Kuwait before moving to San Francisco as a young teenager. She briefly discusses her family’s religious background before they moved to the United States, where they met missionaries and were converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Later, the narrator attended Brigham Young University and served a mission in France. After graduating university, she met her husband and had several children. Other topics include Relief Society, women’s roles in the Church, and the Church’s global initiatives. |
