مستخلص: The article discusses a study aimed at identifying the relationship of the internal maxillary artery (IMAX) to the middle cranial fossa floor and structures to establish a technique for extracranial-to-intracranial bypass. It states that the loop of the IMAX was found in the pterygopalatine fossa using the anteromedial approach which drills the sphenoid bone's greater wing in the anteromedial aspect of the middle fossa's floor.
